Your privacy matters

1. What we collect

We collect only what's necessary to provide the service:

• •Your name and email address (via Google Sign-In) for authentication
• •Room and estimation data you create (stored in Firestore)
• •Payment information processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details
• •Support messages you submit via our contact form

2. AI and your data

AI estimation is powered by Anthropic's Claude API. User story text is sent to Claude only when you explicitly request an AI estimate. We operate under Anthropic's zero-data-retention policy — your stories are not stored by Anthropic and are never used for model training.

You can enable Privacy Mode to automatically strip emails, URLs, company names, and IDs from story text before it is sent to AI.

3. How we use your data

We use your data solely to operate Estimioo: authenticating you, syncing your rooms, processing payments, and responding to support requests. We do not sell your data, run advertising, or share it with third parties except as needed to provide the service (Firebase, Stripe, Anthropic).

4. Data retention

Your account and room data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time by contacting support, after which your data will be removed within 30 days.

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication (Firebase session tokens). We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

6. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in Google Cloud Firestore. Room access is controlled by authenticated Firebase rules — only room participants can read room data.
